While there are many exciting reasons to look forward to retirement living, financial concerns can dampen the enthusiasm for some. After leaving the workforce or losing a spouse, incomes are often curtailed, sometimes dramatically. However, we don’t believe this has to affect your sense of self-sufficiency or economic independence. A safe and comfortable lifestyle can still be maintained at Marquardt Village — even on a limited budget.
We have an affordable government-assisted living option, Mueller Apartments, for those who still want to enjoy the benefits of a continuing care retirement community but require financial help to do so. They’re called the Mueller Apartments. Rent is based on 30% of adjusted gross income, and residents must qualify for acceptance in this government assisted HUD-sponsored program. Click here to download the application.
In this government-assisted living center, just about anything a resident could possibly need is either within arm’s reach or just beyond the front door. Even though the apartments themselves are scaled down to a manageable size, common areas of the building include living rooms, a game room, library, laundry area, dining room and a beauty salon, leaving you wanting for nothing. Please ask a retirement counselor for information on fees and covered utilities.
